
Provide First Aid (including CPR) is the newest update to first aid course. In 2008 the name for first aid courses nationally changed to Provide First Aid and approximately every 2 years the courses have been updated.
As new skills are learnt and new knowledge regarding management of people, that may be injured, may or may not require medical assistance. The Provide First Aid certificate is valid for 3 years, but it is strongly recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council that the CPR skills should be renewed every 12 months.
The course that is required by 99% of employees are only required to complete a Provide First Aid course, the current code for this nationally certified and WorkCover approved course is HLTAID011- Our training is approved by the Royal College of Nursing, nurses and other healthcare professionals can be awarded CPD points with the completion of our courses.
Time:4.5 hours face-to-face training with pre-course study.

HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
Description: Covers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. Applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

This Low Voltage Rescue training course provides participants with the confidence and competence required to provide CPR on an unconscious casualty and rescue someone from a low voltage switchboard. This training course is designed for any person whom may need to provide CPR to utilise DRSABCD during the course of their employment or rescue a person.
This training course is taught according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This training course takes personnel through both the theory of why we do CPR and many practical exercises that emphasise the ‘how’ we perform CPR and perform low voltage rescues.
